NOKO DESIGNS - SUDAFRICA

Noko Designs was established in 2005 by its current manager, Mr Bethuel Mapheto, after completing his Craft Production and Entrepreneurship. From its inception, the company operated out of the vibrant cultural hub of the Bus Factory building in Newtown, Johannesburg. Despite facing financial challenges and limited sponsorship opportunities, Mr Mapheto’s passion for arts and crafts sustained the business through its formative years.

Today, Noko Designs is a respected organization both nationally and internationally, known for its creative, high-quality handcrafted products and its strong presence in numerous exhibitions and events across the globe.

To grow and expand the company by increasing participation in trade fairs and expos, thereby attracting potential clients and further establishing the brand on a global platform.

To create employment opportunities and conduct diverse craft skills development programs within South Africa and abroad.
