Banaras Beads Limited is an ISO 9001:2015 certified Export house recognized by Government of India for last 4 decades and a Public Limited company having more than 6000 shareholders and also listed in leading stock exchange of India BSE & NSE. It was founded in the year 1940 by Late Mr. Kanhaiya Lal Gupta, the father of Mr. Ashok Kumar Gupta who currently acts as Chairman and Managing Director.

Now the 3rd generation Mr. Siddharth Gupta S/O Mr. Ashok Kumar Gupta who studied abroad in London where he earned the Bachelors in Glass Technology, has taken over as CEO & MD, assuming the leadership of all divisions including sales, creative marketing, product development, customer relations, and other company teams that focus primarily on maintaining mutually beneficial partnerships with retail accounts and supplier partners. Under his leadership company has attained new heights in new customer relationship & product development and continuously progressing on the growth path.

Banaras Beads has grown over the last 70 years to become by far the largest and most productive DIY (Do It Yourself) and jewellery component of beads such as Glass, Wooden. Bone, Horn etc company in India exporting approx. 75% of all DIY & Jewellery components exported from the country. The company supplies DIY (Do It Yourself) and jewellery component of beads to over 70 countries across the world, with the majority of focus on U.S. and Europe.
